Wallsburg Town Main Canyon Road Project
This summer, Wallsburg Town will be working on Main Canyon Road roughly from the church to Howard Ford’s. The bid for the project has been awarded to Staker-Parson’s. The road will be widened so there will be 2 11-foot lanes with 4-foot paved shoulders on each side. Some of the sections will have the road base rebuilt. Others will just be widened, and resurfaced.
The project will include excavations along the edges of the road and new road base put in along the shoulders. There will be some fill dirt that has to be removed. There will be some available for local use. Preference will be given to Wallsburg Town residents, followed by those in Wallsburg Valley.
